Choc sour cherry slice
Ingredients
  • 300g plain flour
  • 250g unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100g hazelnuts
  • 2 jars sour cherries (morello), well drained
  • 350g dark chocolate
  • 300ml cream

Method 

Preheat oven to 180C. Mix flour, butter, sugar and egg yolks. Roll and place in a baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes then cool and spread with hazelnuts. Spread cherries over base.

Melt chocolate with a double saucepan, add cream and cool. Pour over cherries and refrigerate, covered in foil, overnight.

Slice in dish and serve.
